Tomorrow is General Nathan Bedford Forrests Birthday

On the 13th day of July in 1821 in middle TN, Nathan Bedford Forrest was born. Little did his parents know that this little boy would be one of the most important men of the 19th century. Brave, courageous, tenacious, protective, loyal, brilliant and resourceful, General Forrest gave his best in defense of his Southland. No other Confederate hero has been as slandered, as maligned, as lied about, or as misunderstood as General Forrest.
Confederate Heritage and Pride remember...s, and celebrates the anniversary of the birth of this one of a kind man.

"...and his dust is our ashes of glory."
